After a flurry of activity at the end of the summer, our family activities have settled down considerably. This means fewer field trips to places like Marine World, which we visited the weekend after Labor Day. Now we are spending more time at home, which is why I am trying to find more family-friendly movies and other home-bound entertainment for the Brewster Boys. I've already purchased Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, and the Little Mermaid is on its way.
Meanwhile, this means Jenny will be leaving me with the kids on weekends more often as she pursues her hobbies such as shopping and mosaic tiles. Roughly every month, she typically goes out on weekends to get her hair done, a facial treatment and a massage. Perhaps once every few months, she goes out with her friends for a "girls night out". That's how I earned my "time-off credits" that allowed me to take last weekend off for dragon boat racing.
