A Day at the Filoli Estate

Last month, we had the pleasure of visiting the Filoli Estate and Gardens in Menlo Park. The Filoli Estate was once owned by the founders of the Matson shipping empire, who developed a huge garden that surrounds a gigantic mansion. We toured the house, but the highlight was the garden that the boys enjoyed immensely.

One of the rooms featured a display of nautical items from the Roth family, the founders of the Matson shipping company

Pretty flowers. Is this what you are planning for your backyard??

Not really. We seem to have problems with tulips and other bulb-based flowers as animals keep digging up and eating them. Also, Jenny does not like hedges. But we certainly have our share of flowering plants and vegetables.

James Chen, last time you showed up on Lauren Do was May 19, 2008. You were very excitedly bragging about your market performance, and inadvertently called a market top. Oh, the $$$ this bear made from that day forward.

So I'm wondering if you still bullish? Because I think this little suckers' rally has about run its course, and I'm looking for the James Chen Indicator to confirm. Please come show up on laurdendo and I will go all-in shorting the Nasdaq. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.
